before I finished. the hat was too big. apparently I can’t count. or something. if I remake the hat, I’m going to need to cast on 20 stitches less. (maybe casting on when I’m not feeling so great isn’t the best of ideas?). so yes, the blue hat is no more.

so, where does that leave us? back to dad’s gloves. glove #2 now has about 1/3 of a finger. it’ll be a full finger (hopefully more than that) by the time I get home tonight.

in the next post, I will hopefully have the felted k-chan up. I know Chris has been waiting for that.

and since I have your attention…
St Patrick’s Season begins in earnest tonight. Tomorrow my dance school will be performing at the Mall of America (12:45, I think. Other schools will be dancing throughout the day). I will not be dancing, but I will be there taking pics (and maybe knitting before/after). Sunday is the day you want to mark your calendars for, because I WILL be dancing at the Landmark Center in St Paul. Our show starts at 4:15pm, I will be making 3 or 4 brief appearances throughout. Info here (this weekend is the Day of Dance) and on the Landmark Center’s site (which is linked on the previous site somewhere).

Should you not be able to make it this weekend, I’ll also be dancing on St Patrick’s day itself, again at the Landmark Center (again, info can be found here - this time follow the St Patrick’s day festivities linkage), this time in the morning (10:50am, to be precise). And since this group is much smaller, I will be lucky if I get a break to breathe at all during the performance. but it’ll be fun. and then, if I’m not completely dead, I’ll be meeting up with the dance school for the St Paul St Pat’s parade.
