my hat
I started this Saturday night while watching that Night at the Museum movie. (cute movie) It’s just your basic hat. actually, it’ll be eerily similar to the one I made for my sister. except it will be solid and not orange & black. I’m using some blue Paton’s Divine that I got during the Knit Out at the MoA a couple weekends ago. I’m contemplating incorporating the brown (also courtesy of Knit Out), but I’m not sure a) how that would look and b) how I want to do it (fat stripes, skinny stripes, lots of stripes or a few, etc). it’ll probably just be blue, and that’s ok.

those are uncropped and unedited (well, aside from making them a website friendly size). taken from my upstairs bathroom window. (I like my camera!)
I like them, though I think my sister still gets far better shots than I do. (since, well, she usually doesn’t have a wall/window between her and the critters)
