Crafter’s Choice is evil. They put this book on the cover of the most recent mailing. Dammit, those are cute! I want to make them. But I don’t know if I want to learn crochet just to make them. (I also wonder what else is in the book, and if I’d really want to make anything else. hmmm. wonder if the library has it.)
in knitting news, Tasha is sort of being resurrected. (I started this in the summer, but never made it very far.) mainly cuz I finished the knitting on Amelia’s socks (need to weave in the ends) on Sunday, and I started her mittens, but the yarn is on my swift and so it’s not really a portable project at the moment. so Tasha it is, but the stupid Rowan Denim yarn keeps twisting up, which is driving me nuts. I’m also thinking of starting the Kureyon Karp today.

Those penguins are so cute! Crochet isn’t very hard to learn - at least I don’t think so. Hopefully you’ll be able to find out what other patterns might be in it to see if it is worth purchasing.
Have you received the invitation email yet for the Knittin’ Mittens?
I have the same question about is the cuteness worth the crochet re: this:
