I think I’m about to join Crafter’s Choice for round three… last time they invited me back, there wasn’t much of interest, but now they’re offering:
* Pleasures of Knitting (got it from the library, like lots of the patterns)
* Scarf & Wrap Style (not sure I’ll get them, but they are worthy of note)
* At Knit Ends - gotta have!
* Knitting Over the Edge - another gotta have
* Loop d Loop - not sure on this one. it’s interesting
* and a new (to them) sock book.
There’s also Michael’s (craft store) Big Book of Needlecraft (knitting, crochet & embroidery), and a few others that I want. *sigh* now I need to evaluate the ones I want to make sure I get the best deal. *rolls eyes* like I need more knitting books…
I triec them once. They canceled me because I didn’t order books quick enough for them. Kind of weird, because I did order my required, and was good about not just letting them send me books that I didn’t want. They have tried tempting me back many times, but I haven’t checked out their knitting books for a while.
Maybe next time…
Scarf Style is one of my favorite knitting books. Everything’s very cool. Wrap Style is good, if you like wraps (I’m divided on them).
Loop-d-loop is very inspiring. The stories behind the patterns are interesting, and the patterns themselves are very funky, but wearable.
