if you haven’t noticed, there’s a LYS mini-tour page in progress… the plan for the page eventually is to be more than just a list… I’m thinking of adding photos of the store-fronts so people might recognize the area (and see what the parking situation is - or is not, as is often the case!), adding maps, further sorting the shops within their ‘regions’ and maybe expanding to other shops in MN that aren’t in the Twin Cities metro area. note that I am not including Jo-Anns or Michael’s as they’re easy enough to find… but if you know of a general craft store that has a good yarn stock, I’d love to add it to the list.
where am I finding my info? I know there’s a MN-blogger with a list, as well as lists on the Berrocco site and the Guild site. I’m also using the list info on the TCSnB message board (and Yahoo Group) and also some reviews/info gleaned from the MN shops thread at knitty.com.
if you know of any shops to add, you see a mistake, or have thoughts on other info that’d be useful, please leave a comment on this thread. thanks!
